What a wedding officiant does

A wedding officiant conducts your ceremony — writing and delivering the script, managing the ceremony flow, and ensuring the legal registration is completed correctly on the day. In South Africa, to legally register a marriage the officiant must be a licensed marriage officer appointed by the Department of Home Affairs.

We are licensed marriage officers. Every ceremony we conduct results in a legally valid marriage. We handle the DHA-24 register, submit it to Home Affairs after the ceremony, and ensure your marriage is registered correctly.
